This is a 33 minute (including savasana) practice that is just what it sounds like … fluid and flowy. Very little instruction or alignment for those days when you just want to come to your mat and move in a way that inspires you to feel fluid inside and out. Our pace is on the slower side, but our movement is continuous. We’ll dynamically move through twisting lunges, warrior 2, side angle, skandasana, horizon lunge, fallen triangle, wild thing, chair pose and eagle, with a sprinkling of other poses in between. We round things out with pigeon (yes!) and sphinx, before setting into Savasana.

Downward Face On Dog. Shanti inserted herself into the middle of my practice this morning, and here she stayed through almost the very end. Made movement and shapes interesting 😂 but made for an incredibly grounding Adho Mukha Svanasana. Grateful for Shanti and all the peace she brings.
Long before I found yoga, music was my form of meditation. Growing up I found my solace in playing piano and singing - and still turn to music as a centering force in my life. Which is why these yoga + live music events are some of my favorite blends to offer. The combination of movement, breath, community connection and music is powerful and healing.
What a gift it is to have a friend who has been by your side for every season of life between potty training and present day. Who remembers every version of you that has existed across 36 years of friendship, and continues to celebrate the person you are today. A friendship that can exist across distance (we haven’t lived in the same state since we were 5 years old), but can pick up even after three years apart like no time has passed. I know what a rare gift you are as a human @jaclynescalera, and what a rare gift our friendship is. I’m incredibly grateful for you, and the time spent together this weekend. Love you more than words can express. ❤️🙏🏼
